Gems are used for purchasing characters, pets, bans, ban slots, and riftstone coupons. They can be obtained via missions or purchased from the store.
Prayerstones are used for refreshing the beginning artifacts obtained via Cecilia's Blessing, and to refresh Challenge mode restrictions.
Soulstones are used for levelling up characters and the purchasing of pets. They are primarily obtained by entering the dungeon, with Normal mode being the better source of income.
Riftstones/Breachstones are used for unlocking a character's mastery after they have reached level 30. They are primarily obtained by playing Challenge mode, and can be exchanged from soulstones at a 1:1 ratio.
Special Pet Coupons are used for obtaining special pets that cannot be purchased using soulstones and gems. These coupons can only be obtained by purchasing the Seasonal Passes, or through the Mileage Store.
Boss Equipment Exchange Tickets are used for obtaining boss skins for characters. These tickets can be obtained by purchasing the Monster Pass (Unlocks at Level 50) or directly from the store.
Special Skin Exchange Tickets are used for obtaining Special Pack skins for characters. These tickets can be obtained by purchasing directly from the store.
Pass Skin Exchange Tickets are used for obtaining character skins from previous Seasonal Passes. These tickets can be obtained by purchasing directly from the store during the 3rd Anniversary Event period only.
Season Pass Exchange Tickets are used for obtaining rewards from previous Seasonal Passes. These tickets can be obtained by purchasing directly from the store.
Character Exchange Tickets are used in the Exchange Shop to exchange for characters.
Skin Exchange Tickets are used in the Exchange Shop to exchange for skins.
Weapon Exchange Tickets are used in the Exchange Shop to exchange for weapons.
Mileage Points are used for obtaining Character Pass and Special Pack skins for characters. Mileage Points are earned by spending real money in the store. When purchasing a product, the player earns 5% of the purchase amount (converted to Korean Won) as mileage (e.g. 100KRW -> 5MP).
Multiplier Coupons are to increase rewards obtained from dungeons. These coupons can be obtained from Seasonal Passes, or through the shop. Two 1.5 times coupons are given daily.
Gold is the currency used and obtained in the dungeon. It is used for refreshing chests and purchasing from the mimic store. Additionally, there are events where you can consume gold to exchange for upgrades/skills/artifacts.
Songpyeons are the currency for the Hunting Event. They are used in the event shop (consisting of 3 phases and a repeating phase) for exchanging goods.
3rd Anniversary Tickets are the currency for the 3rd Anniversary Event. They are used in the event shop (consisting of 3 phases and a repeating phase) for exchanging goods.
Tubes are the currency for the Summer Event. They are used in the event shop for exchanging goods.
Cocounuts are the currency for the Summer Event. They are used in the event shop for exchanging goods.
Chests
Relic boxes appear in regular stages and mid-boss encounters. They are categorized into low, medium, high, and special grades.
In regular stages, bosses of all grades can appear, but when defeating mid-bosses, only high and special-grade boxes appear.
As the grade of the relic box increases, the probability of high-grade relics appearing also increases. Additionally, if you acquire the 'Luck' stat, the chances of obtaining higher-grade relics increase.
Basic Chest: Low to medium-grade relics appear.
Intermediate Chest: Low to medium-grade relics appear.
Advanced Chest: Low to high-grade relics appear.
Superior Chest: Low to special-grade relics appear.
Boss Box: Appears at the end of each stage upon defeating the boss (including Ras (CH01 Hidden Boss), Nikella (Cursed Room Hidden Boss) and Benedict (CH04 Hidden Boss)). You can obtain special relics that cannot be acquired from other chests, and have a higher chance of obtaining high-grade relics. These boxes cannot be refreshed, with the exception of using the Second Chest (Greater Artifact).
Cursed Chest: Cursed relics appear. Requires minimally 0.5 HP to open at an increasing amount of Luck.
Relic Chest: Drops artifacts of a specific grade depending on the location in which the chest is found. Usually found in Hidden Areas.
Gem Chest: Drops gems. Usually found in Hidden Areas.
Prayerstone Chest: Drops prayerstones. Usually found in Hidden Areas.
Soulstone Chest: Drops soulstones. Usually found in Hidden Areas.
Green Box: Added during the 2024 Christmas Event. Appears after failing to kill the event Snowmen bosses. Primarily drops HP hearts.
Red Box: Added during the 2024 Christmas Event. Appears after killing the Stage 1 Snowman (Event Boss). Similar to a Basic Chest, but guarantees a Snow Bucket (Specially-Obtainable Artifact).
Yellow Box: Added during the 2024 Christmas Event. Appears after killing the Stage 2 Snowman (Event Boss). Similar to an Intermediate Chest, but guarantees a Shimmering Tree (Specially-Obtainable Artifact).
Prism Box: Added during the 2024 Christmas Event. Appears after killing the Stage 3 Snowman (Event Boss). Similar to an Advanced Chest, but guarantees a Superior Artifact and a Glowing Golden Star (Specially-Obtainable Artifact).
If the relic you need does not appear, you can spend gold to refresh the contents of the box using gold. Upon obtaining a relic, the relic box can no longer be refreshed.
Health
0.5 HP/Heart
1.0 HP/Heart: can be converted to a barrier using a mango. You can hold an unlimited amount of HP, although your screen will only display 12 at maximum.
Barrier/Temporary Shield: Absorbs 1 Damage. Cannot be converted to a Frozen heart through Frost synergy. Unable to obtain more if the amount of HP + Shields + Barriers >= 12.
Skill Shield/Regenerative Barrier: Similar to a normal barrier but replenishes every stage. Absorbs 1 Damage. Unable to obtain more if the amount of HP + Shields + Barriers >= 12.
Frozen Shield: Check the Frost Synergy for information.
Shield: Absorbs 1 Damage. Unable to obtain more if the amount of HP + Shields + Barriers >= 12.
Dragon Communion - Base: available to the Dragonian (Character) only, while using the base skin.
Dragon Communion - Sacred Radiance: available to the Dragonian (Character) only, while using the "Sacred Radiance" skin.
Skills
Skills can be obtained through skill boxes placed in each stage, or through boss boxes, certain NPCs, and relics.
Main Skill: Activates with a certain probability when attacking enemies.
Subskill: Activates at regular intervals.
Buff Skill: Always active.
Skill boxes appear in each stage. Interacting with one allows you to obtain a skill card, and the skill cards that appear vary depending on the grade of the skill box.
Stone Skill Box: 0-modification skill.
Silver Skill Box: 1-modification skill or skill selection.
Gold Skill Box: 2-modification skill or relic (mysterious card).
Prism Skill Box: Special modification skill.
Skills can be modified up to a maximum of 3 times.
Combining the same skill requires 1 card, while combining with other skills requires 2 cards.
Upon picking up a skill, you can choose to modify the skill while specifying the desired modification, otherwise the modification will be random.
Once all modifications of a skill are completed (3☆), you can proceed with a special modification from Venti. The modification has a 50% success rate, which the success rate increases with each failed attempt. If the modification fails, the card can no longer be specially modified. Successfully modifying a skill resets the success rate back to 50%.
Random Events
Sanctuary of Defense:
In-range Effect: Monster receives 30% reduced damage. Upon destruction: Gain 1 Temporary Shields.
Sanctuary of Souls:
In-range Effect: Each monster gains 3 instances of Magic Damage Immunity. Upon destruction: Gain 5 additional soulstones for each monster defeated during the current stage.
Sanctuary of Battle:
In-range Effect: Receive 1 increased damage. Upon destruction: Attack Power increases by 30% for the current stage.
Sanctuary of Acceleration:
In-range Effect: Monster Speed increases by 30%. Upon destruction: Increase Movement Speed and Attack Speed by 10% for the current stage.
Sacrifice 0.5 HP for a chance to obtain an artifact.
Statue of Enhancement:
Spend increments of 100 Gold (starting from 100) for a chance to have a Skill upgraded, potentially multiple times at once.
Statue of Gladiator:
Fight off waves of mobs to obtain a random-grade artifact.
Statue of Life:
Spend increments of 50 Gold (starting from 50) to recover 0.5 HP.
Tags & Synergies
There are two types of Synergies in this game, Tag Synergy and Relic Synergy (See Codex). This section will elaborate on Tag Synergy only. For Relic Synergy, visit the "Codex" page under the "Unlocks" tab.
Each skill possesses various tags, and when you acquire an artifact with tags that match the skill's tags, that skill is enhanced. Therefore, if your artifact's tag is not ditto with your skill's tag, the effect is not applied.
Artifacts with (tag+tag) will only enhance abilities if all corresponding tags are present, else they work on skills with either tags present. Artifacts without attached tags (e.g. Cursed Fingernail) apply to all tagged skills and also increase the character's stats.

When you acquire skills with the same tag, a Tag Synergy is activated, which further enhances the skills. The more skills with the same tag you equip, the stronger the Tag Synergy.

Game Modes
Normal Mode: This is the default mode in Dungeon Slasher, and it yields the highest amount of soulstones.
Challenge Mode: This is the go-to mode for earning riftstones. There are 8 different steps (levels), consisting of Challenge Modifiers with an increasing level of difficulty. You will need to clear Challenge Mode Step 1 to unlock Tempel's (CH04 Final Boss) second phase. For the full list of Challenge Modifiers, click here.
Super Fast Mode: The ideal mode for testing Character Builds. All Skills acquired will come with their primary modifications, and mobs are re-balanced. Skill Activation Chance +10%, Skill Haste +40. Unable to obtain achievements, challenges, or meet unlock conditions. HP recovery hearts and Mysterious Card (Regular Artifact) do not appear in stage boxes (except artifacts and character abilities)
Seasonal Passes
There are two types of passes in the game, Character Passes and Monster Passes. These passes typically last for ~40 days and contain the following rewards:
